Clinical Consultation
for Mental Health Professionals

Guidance, support, and practical strategies for clinicians

Strengthening Confidence in
Crisis Intervention & Diverse Populations

It has become evident that mental health professionals may benefit from learning about how to support suicidal clients without apprehension and learning how to meet the unique needs that clients from diverse backgrounds may require.

Courtney began her career as a volunteer receiving calls for 988 Suicide and Crisis line (formerly called the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) from 2017–2019.  Following that experience, she has worked in emergency departments for 5 years and continues to enjoy working as a crisis clinician. Courtney has experience completing comprehensive suicide risk assessments, collaborating with county delegates, and coordinating care with numerous inpatient admissions and mobile crisis teams in the Philadelphia tri-state area.

Who This Consultation Is For

Courtney is dedicated to supporting recent graduates and pre-licensed, master’s level clinicians as they build confidence and competence in providing high quality services to clients. Consultation is also available to any licensed practitioner who may be interested in learning how to work with unique populations or has interest in enhancing or refreshing crisis intervention skills.

The goal is for both pre-licensed and licensed professionals to feel prepared and supported when implementing recommended clinical strategies.
